Red Velvet’s ‘The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday,’ album surpasses 710,000 in pre-orders

Red Velvet is set to make their comeback on November 28th @ 6 PM (KST). SM Entertainment has stated that they have high expectations for RV’s comeback as the group’s album has already sold more than 710,000 copies in pre-orders. This feat alone proves Red Velvets’ dominance in the industry and that they are still a record-breaking group.
“ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday” is the group’s second album release of the year, following “Feel My Rhythm”. The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday is a collection of five songs based on “imagination” and “time travel,” including “Birthday,” “BYE BYE,” “On A Ride,” “ZOOM,” and “Celebrate.” The title track “Birthday” is a trap-rhythm dance pop track sampling George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue.”
The song is intended to evoke the feeling of celebrating a birthday for listeners.
