The Inaugural Metamoon Music Festival Announces A Partnership With Apex For Youth


The MetaMoon Music Festival, a single-day festival, and cultural experience to celebrate the Asian diaspora is coming to Barclays Center in Brooklyn this Saturday, November 26, and announced their community initiative partnerships today. The MetaMoon Festival is produced by Hong Kong-based Graceful Media in partnership with Live Nation.

Boardroom, a 35V company founded by Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman, along with Tapestry’s Coach and kate spade new york, and media platform RADII, will support Apex for Youth through ticket donations for the students and their families to attend the festival. Additionally, HungryPanda, an online delivery and lifestyle platform, is providing promotional support.

“The Tapestry Foundation and Coach and kate spade new york brands proudly stand taller together with Apex for Youth to unlock the power of underserved Asian and immigrant community youth through our commitment to equity, inclusion and diversity at this year’s inaugural Meta Moon Festival,” said David Casey, Chief Inclusion and Social Impact Officer, at Tapestry.


This collaboration furthers the mission of MetaMoon Music Festival to engage the local community and businesses through the discovery of Asian artists and pop culture. This year’s festival features a line-up of a diverse genre of music from some of Asia’s hottest young artists including headliner Lay Zhang, 9m88, Amber Liu, Karencici, ØZI, Sury Su,Tia Ray, Tyson Yoshi and host MC Jin, with tunes by DJ Poon.
The festival also includes a market featuring API-owned brands and a food crawl with select local eateries around NYC to bring the community together through music and food.
