Rookie Group Cravity Makes their Comeback with 2nd Mini Album
Cravity has just entered the music industry, yet they have already made captivating bops that are leaving audiences hooked. From their talented vocals to the track itself, this group proves to show that they have a bright future ahead of them.
Cravity is a nine-member boy group from Starship Entertainment. The team consists of members: Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung, and Seongmin. All of them have put in an increasing amount of effort to get to where they are today. Cravity officially debuted on April 14, 2020, with their mini-album, “Hideout: Remember Who We Are- Season 1”.
On August 24, 2020, Cravity released their sequence to the first release titled, “Hideout: The New Day We Step Into- Season 2”. Flame, the title track of the EP, had it’s M/V released on the same day as well.
The EP consists of seven different exquisite hits:

- HOT AIR BALLOON
- Sunrise
- Breathing

The title track, Flame, gives off an intergalactic, space-themed vibe. As if they’re stuck on Mars, the opening shots of the music video show a dusty red planet, random forgotten objects, and a space rover lurking around.
“Flame” itself is a song that personifies the object of a flame. Talking about how they should test the limits and break free of something that is holding them back, in order for the said person to thrive. If things keep snuffing out the flame, we should only get up and rise higher!
One symbol that is repeatedly shown is the tarot card. (Tarot cards are playing cards used by fortune tellers to supposedly peek into a person’s future.) The tarot card is shown multiple times to be eaten by flames throughout the music video. Telling the viewer they have the power to control their own fate.
The powerful song not only has intricate and compelling lyrics that move the audiences, but the vocals are equally exquisite! As if their voices are made from physical instruments, these boys effortlessly create ranges within the song that is astonishingly amazing and captivating! They go from high tones to lower tones like a thrilling rollercoaster.
Another part of the music video that caught my attention was the dynamic choreography. Elements of the dance seem tough, and other parts are soft. They collide together to create something like a piece of art.
Everything about this music video is a masterpiece! From the vocals to the choreography to the visuals captured in the video, this song deserves more attention! Creativity is an extremely talented group, and I’m sure their hard work and dedication for this career will only make them thrive!
