GOT The Beat (Girls On Top) release Intense music performance for Step Back!

On Jan 1st, SM gave fans a sneak peek of their new project unit GOT (Girls On Top.) The performance initially debuted on SMTOWN’s LIVE 2022: SMCU EXPRESS@KWANGYA broadcast and was later released on GOT’s youtube channel.

GOT The Beat is a supergroup showcasing a few of SM’s best female artists, including BoA, Girls’ Generation’s TAEYEON and HYOYEON, Red Velvet’s SEULGI and WENDY, and aespa’s KARINA and WINTER.

According to SM, “the new song ‘Step Back’ is an addictive hip-hop R&B song with repetitive bass and instrument variations. The lyrics contain direct expressions of a woman with high self-esteem in love with a lover, and the members’ unique vocals and solid singing ability enhance the song’s perfection.”

In addition GOT The Beat’s song “Step Back” will officially be released on January 3, 2022 at 6 PM KST on various streaming platforms such as iTunes, Apple Music, and Spotify.
