HA:TFELT and a Rabbit Man Steal the Stage In This Eerily Satisfying Song “La Luna”

On September 10, 2020, HA:TFELT, originally known as Park Ye Eun, released a music video as well as the digital single album for the song “La Luna”.

Former Wonder Girls member, Park Ye Eun, has wowed audiences time and time again for her creative song pieces as well as her genuine talent with music. Park Ye Eun was the initial member of JYP’s girl group “Wonder Girls” at their debut in 2007 and remained with the group up until they disbanded in 2017.

In 2014, Park Ye Eun made her solo debut as HA:TFELT. When Wonder Girls disbanded in 2017, Ye Eun left JYP Entertainment and joined Amoeba Culture, where under them she released quite a bit of music.

The song, “La Luna”, is certainly something you don’t normally see in the Korean music industry. R&B artist, HA:TFELT, created a song that closely resembles the fleeting moments of summer. With the onslaught of cooler and cloudy weather, this song seems to reminisce and cherish the euphoric, fun moments that once existed.

With its upbeat tempo and catchy lyrics, the track creates a vibe for a song that you could crazily dance too. Something like a fever dream, HA:TFELT’s MV is unlike any other Korean music video I have seen. The video features a fluffy white toy bunny that magically becomes a hybrid between a rabbit and a man. Together, the man-rabbit and HA:TFELT have fun to their heart’s content in the moonlight.

Like a magical spell, man-rabbit’s time will run out and in the end, he is shown to disappear back into a stuffed animal. A tragic ending but one that is unlike any other.

Based on the track and the music video, HA:TFELT has proven that she is in fact a creative genius.  She has meshed an interesting storyline with a catchy song to create something that audiences can listen to over and over again!

HA:TFELT is definitely going somewhere with her music in the future and I can’t wait to witness what more she has in store for her audiences.
