Crystal Kay Shines in Dallas with CK25 The Tour

Dallas came alive on Saturday, August 30, 2025, as fans from all walks of life lined up outside South Side Music Hall, buzzing with excitement to see Crystal Kay in the flesh. The energy was undeniable, this was more than just a concert; it was a moment years in the making.

CK25 The Tour has been the talk of the summer, with both Los Angeles shows selling out. For many international fans in Dallas, this stop felt like a dream come true. Throughout the night, audience members shared stories of how they had been listening to Crystal Kay their whole lives and how she inspired them to chase their own dreams.

The show opened with her band setting the mood before Crystal Kay took the stage in a stunning teal two piece suit. From the moment she began singing “hard to say”, the crowd was on its feet. She flowed into fan favorites like “Ex-Boyfriend,” “Girl U Love,” and the nostalgic “Eternal Memories.” Midway through the energetic set, she offered a more intimate moment with “No Pressure,” followed by a medley of beloved tracks in “TEENAGE UNIVERSE ~Chewing Gum Baby / think of U / Girl’s Night / What Time Is It? / Sweet Friends.” The momentum continued with “ONE,” and “Gimme Some.”

When she began singing “Kirakuni,” the long-awaited song that fans had campaigned for years to see on streaming, the crowd erupted. “After almost 17 years, we finally got this song out of streaming jail,” she spoke, earning a thunderous applause.

She continued the set with “Candy,” “Koi ni Ochitara,” and “That Girl.”

One of the night’s most touching moments came when Crystal reflected on her childhood dreams of becoming a singer. She shared how she would sit at home, mesmerized by performances from her two biggest inspirations: Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson. Then, live on stage, she honored them. First performing Michael’s “Human Nature”, before gliding into Janet’s “I Get Lonely.” She smiled as she told the crowd, “When I first saw them, I wanted to be him and her.

Toward the end of the night, Crystal brought two lucky fans on stage for a magically impromptu moment. Both participants knew every move, singing and dancing along as if they’d rehearsed together.

The encore arrived with a powerful performance of “Motherland,” closing the night on an emotionally uplifting note that celebrated both her legacy and the bond she shares with her fans. Another memorable moment from the night was that there were almost no phones in sight during her performance. The crowd was truly living in the moment with Crystal.

The Dallas stop of CK25 proved exactly why Crystal Kay has remained an icon for 25 years her talent, her humility, and her ability to connect with fans across generations.
