ONEW Brings CONNECTION and healing to Houston with THE LIVE : CONNECTION tour
ONEW’s U.S. tour stop felt like a long awaited reunion between the beloved SHINee member and his fans. The night was filled with laughter, warmth, and emotion as he performed a setlist that blended nostalgia, comfort, and joy.
Early in the show, ONEW joked with the crowd, saying, “I sound like AI in America,” which made everyone laugh. Fans quickly responded with a loud “No, no!” The playful moment set the tone for a concert that balanced lighthearted humor with sincere emotion.

Throughout the night, he interacted closely with the audience, even tossing paper airplanes into the crowd before launching into fan-favorite tracks like “Dice,” “Gradation,” “Love Phobia,” and “All Day.” His vocals were smooth and strong, but what stood out most was his warmth and humility.
During one of his talks, ONEW shared how moved he was by the audience’s energy.
“When I heard your cheers, I couldn’t believe it. Being here with you all is such a great experience, and I’m so grateful.”
He also offered a heartfelt message to fans who might be struggling.
“If your life isn’t going the way you planned, I hope you find strength and hope from this show. No matter what happens, I hope you can come back to this moment and cherish it.”
As the show shifted into a softer set, ONEW encouraged everyone to relax and find peace through the next few songs. The healing sequence included “Always,” “Illusion,” and “Mad.” He explained that he had prepared “Mad” especially for the U.S. tour and was surprised that so many fans already knew it. The song’s meaning, he said, is about connection and presence “Wherever you are, I’m with you.”

Reflecting on his 17-year career, ONEW shared that he’s still learning and discovering new things, a message that resonated deeply with fans who have grown alongside him since SHINee’s debut.
The final stretch of the concert brought the energy back up with performances of “In the Whale,” “MAESTRO,” and “Yay.”
For the encore, he returned with “Winner,” “Hola,” “Conversation,” and “Promise You,” closing the night with gratitude and joy.
