The LOONA alumni continues to carve her own path within the Kpop genre most notably with her genre-bending pre-release single, ‘White Cat,’

Released in July, the song explores the internal conflict of appearing perfectly polished on the outside while feeling completely chaotic within. It touches on the emotional weight of loneliness and the struggle of feeling abandoned.

Sonically, ‘White Cat’ fuses elements of electroclash, and hyperpop, with a gritty Y2K inspired edge. Resulting in a sound that’s both nostalgic and forward thinking. The accompanying MV mirrors this feeling with surreal, fashion forward visuals that blur the line between control and unraveling.
