[Exclusive] GIRLSET Shares Their Vision for a New Era at °1824 Press Conference
Once known as VCHA, the AK4 alumni Camila, Lexi, Kendall, and Savanna have embarked on a new journey as GIRLSET. We had the honor of speaking with the group during a press conference hosted by °1824. The event brought together media outlets that were eager to learn more about the rising girl group’s next chapter. Throughout the conference, the members shared insights about their creative process, their latest single ‘commas‘, and what fans can expect from this new era.
One member was noticeably absent, as Kendall was unwell, and the team chose to prioritize her health and recovery.
During the Q&A, TokkiStar asked the group:
“As GIRLSET continues to build their global presence, how do you balance staying true to your artistic identity while also exploring new sounds and concepts for international audiences?”
Savanna: I think a part of our identity and artistry is exploring a lot of different sounds. We already have so many vibes and genres within us, so while staying true to our own creative input, we’re always experimenting and growing.
Lexus: We definitely want to incorporate more cultural sounds and show that through our music, to represent and bring people around the world together.
Camila: Our fans have been asking for that too, and it’s something we genuinely want to do.
Lexus added that with their diverse backgrounds, each of them brings something unique to the table making GIRLSET’s sound a blend of individuality and shared creativity.
And speaking of bringing something unique and fresh to the table, GIRLSET is currently gearing up for a comeback with their upcoming single “Little Miss” a Y2K inspired track that’s set to highlight each member’s individual style and personality.
We’d like to give a special thanks to °1824, GIRLSET, and JYP Entertainment for the opportunity to attend and share this moment.
