KATSEYE Performs at The GRAMMY Museum

On September 18th Rising global girl group KATSEYE performed at the GRAMMY Museum, where they gave fans an intimate performance and answered one of their most talked about song, Mean Girls.

A Performance in Custom GAP Pieces

The members of KATSEYE arrived in custom GAP looks, made by Zana Bayne. The outfits were bold, yet polished, and gave off a youthful energy.

During their performance fans were treated to a sneak peek of the official choreography for Mean Girls, giving the audience an early taste of what’s yet to come for their upcoming tour.

Speaking on “Mean Girls”

One of the most powerful moments of the night came when KATSEYE addressed the lyric:

“God bless the T-girls and all the inbetween girls.”

The line has sparked conversation since the track’s debut. Many female artists previously offered the song reportedly wanted the line removed, but KATSEYE made the decision to keep it intact.

When asked why, the group explained that it was important to stand by inclusivity and representation. For KATSEYE, keeping the lyric wasn’t just about a song, it was about sending a message of acceptance and celebrating all women.
