A Powerful Return After Enlistment
This marks WOODZ’s first official release since completing his mandatory military service in July 2025. The project builds on the viral resurgence of his 2023 track “Drowning”, which reclaimed chart success in 2024 and remains in Korea’s Top 5 music rankings as of September 2025.
With I’ll Never Love Again, WOODZ demonstrates his versatility by blending emotional vulnerability with genre-defying production, reinforcing his reputation as one of Korea’s most dynamic soloists.
Track Highlights

“I’ll Never Love Again” Opens with a melancholy organ melody before building into a sweeping alternative rock anthem of heartbreak and resilience. Backed by a choir, WOODZ delivers a stirring vocal performance that captures both despair and defiance. The lyrics drive home its message: “If this is how love always ends, I’ll never love again.”
“Smashing Concrete” A heavier, alternative-metal-inspired track that combines rap, sharp guitar riffs, and pounding percussion. Previously teased with a visualizer in July, the song is an anthem of breaking barriers and pushing forward.
A Career Defined by Growth and Resilience
Since his solo debut, WOODZ has written and produced nearly all of his discography, including acclaimed projects like EQUAL (2020), SET (2021), ONLY LOVERS LEFT (2021), COLORFUL TRAUMA (2022), and OO-LI (2023). His artistry spans pop-rock, R&B, hip-hop, and experimental sounds, earning him the nickname “pop-rock chameleon” by DAZED.
Ahead of his enlistment, he completed a sold out global tour across 12 countries, further cementing his international presence. Now, with his return, WOODZ has already performed at major festivals such as Summer Sonic and Let’s Rock Festival.
Fashion and Cultural Influence

Beyond music, WOODZ is recognized for his distinct style and influence in fashion. He has appeared in publications including Vogue Korea, DAZED, GQ, and Harper’s BAZAAR, solidifying his reputation as a trendsetter.
