KATSEYE’s show in Houston wasn’t Gnarly, it was Beyoncé!

From Grammy nominations to VMA wins, and with over 75,000 fans filling their Lollapalooza set, KATSEYE has officially taken the world by storm.

Recently, we had the honor of attending their sold out show in Sugar Land. One of the many shows on their fully sold out Beautiful Chaos World Tour, and let me just say… it was nothing short of incredible.

Long before doors opened, three long lines of fans from every walk of life wrapped around the Smart Financial Centre, a testament to the group’s rapidly growing popularity. Many traveled from far beyond Texas, including a mother and daughter who drove 14 hours from Florida just to see KATSEYE in Houston. When I asked people in line what drew them to the group, the answer was nearly the same every time.

within each member, they feel seen.

The night kicked off with their pre-debut track “Debut,” complete with the special dance break that went viral after their MAMA Awards performance in Los Angeles last year. Without taking a breath, the girls moved straight into “Gameboy,” where Manon yelled out Beyoncé’s name. A moment that instantly set a trend for the remainder of the show.

Throughout the night, KATSEYE paid continuous homage to Houston’s own Beyoncé, shouting her name whenever the opportunity arose. Houston fans ate it up. At one point, the entire arena went dark, and the crowd broke into a spontaneous “Beyoncé!” chant.

The group also sang fan favorites like “Mean Girls,” “Gabriela,” “M.I.A,” “Dirty Water,” “Girls Don’t Like,” and “All the Same,” the last three being a heartfelt nod to their Dream Academy days. Some of the standout moments came from their newest track, Internet Girl, which is quickly taking social media by storm, and their breakout hit “Gnarly.” The crowd reached its loudest during these performances, proving just how passionate fans are about these songs.

Overall, KATSEYE showed that they’re not just rising stars, they’re fully formed artists stepping confidently into their era.

We want to give a special thanks to the Interscope/Geffen PR team for giving TokkiStar this opportunity, and a special thanks to KATSEYE for an unforgettable night.
