Netizens debate whether ILLIT can sing

Recently, ILLIT received their first win on the music show called ‘The Show.’ During ILLIT’s encore, the girls sang their catchy tune “Magnetic.” Once the video hit the internet, international netizens began talking about the girls’ vocals, stating they couldn’t sing and insinuating that HYBE is debuting groups that can’t sing live.

However, some other international netizens are saying that the worst part of the performance is being shared over the internet. They say the performance starts off rough, but they get it together in the end and sound fairly decent.

While some international fans feel one way, K-Netizens have been praising the girls for their vocals, especially MINJU. A video from their showcase has been going viral in Korea of the member singing “Magnetic” acapella.
