Red Velvet’s Seulgi’s Solo: Uncover
Seulgi has released the third sequence to follow up on the song’s main track, “Naughty”.
Seulgi and Irene were both part of the “Naughty” music video and musical process. They presented their unique talents in this dark, ominous video. Almost as if the video talks about an alternate reality, the music video presents these two characters as something like two halves of a whole.
“Naughty” is a three part series. The title song was released on July 21st; it being the first part of the series. The second video was focused solely on Irene and her main dancing visuals. The final addition of the series, Seulgi’s solo song, “Uncover”, has been released on July 23rd. The last video focused on Seulgi’s own individual song and her powerful choreography.
Each of the videos presented in this series has its own individuality portrayed in it however it’s creative visual aspect was what had separated this mesmerizing mini series from other Red Velvet videos.
Seulgi’s song, “Uncover”, was featured as the bonus track in mini album “Monster”. SM says, “Seulgi’s dream and sensual solo stage, which was unveiled for the first time in Japan, was able to [be] met again.”
With performance director Shim Jae Won, the videos brought to life an alternate visual of Seulgi and Irene that was hinted before but now, in the spotlight .
Irene and Seulgi will be performing “Naughty” on KBS2TV “Music Bank” on the 24th, MBC “Show! Music Core” on the 25th and SBS “Inkigayo”
