The Rose’s Final Message
On August 23, 2020, The Rose presented a beautiful encased present to their one-of-a-kind “Black Rose”.
The Rose is a four-member band under J&Star Company. They officially debuted in August 2017 with their most popular single “Sorry” that amounted to over 22 million listens on Spotify and 16 million views on YouTube! With a debut success like that, The Rose is one of the few proven groups out there who have such natural talent and chemistry! They need to be made more known to the world so no one misses out on these INCREDIBLE artists!
The Rose consists of four people: Hajoon, Woosung, Dojoon, Jaehyung! Each of them plays a vital part in the group!
- Woosung, born and raised in LA, found his passion for music early on. He is the leader of the group, the lead vocalist, and plays the electric guitar!
- Dojoon, previously a member of Windfall, joined The Rose! He is the main vocalist, keyboardist and plays the acoustic guitar!
- Hajoon, a lover of drums, has played the drums since he was young. He is the drummer of the group, sub vocalist as well as a rapper!
- Jaehyung, a huge fan of Coldplay, is a talented guitarist! He is the bassist, sub-vocalist, as well as the visual of the group!

The genuine message and saddening realization of what the message entails is heart-wrenching. The message thanked their fans for being with them on this rocky journey. In the three years since their debut, they have had many beautiful moments as a group but now, The Rose wants time to rest and appreciate where they are in their lives.
The Rose has officially announced that they will be taking a break for a bit but will return soon!
In the meantime, they have released a present for Black Roses as they slowly part ways. The title of the song is called, “Black Rose.”
