On April 18th, The Unit Lable/BPM had announced that VIVIZ, a K-Pop girl group with members: Umji, Eunha, and SinB, will be dropping a remix version of the title track, “BOP BOP!” of their first mini-album,
with DJ Yves V as part of the group’s “pre-debut” campaign for their US debut.
“BOP BOP!” is a hybrid pop dance song that combines Latin-style rhythm and disco. Based on the word “bop,” meaning good, the title, “BOP BOP!” expresses VIVIZ’s unique music, rhythms, and colors. Like the lyrics, the funky bass line of the chorus creates harmony with the members’ vocals to portray VIVIZ’s aspiration to enjoy music effectively.
The DJ who collaborated with VIVIZ for this remix version of “BOP BOP!” is Yves V. A Belgian DJ renowned in the US, who placed #34 in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll, Yves V is an integral part of the Tomorrowland musical makeup. He has produced alongside famous artists, including David Guetta, Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, and is continuing his career, recently having released “Déjà vu”
with INNA and Janieck.
As fans’ expectations and interest in their collaboration increase, both eyes and ears are focused on the “BOP BOP!” remix and the collab’s future moves.
