EXO-SC Coming Up Hot With Fire Lineup for Summer Release
The first comeback for EXO’s subunit is just around the corner and the album, 1 Billion Views, is already gaining traction with its featuring lineup.
EXO SC’s album will be released on July 13 and consists of 9 tracks, including their title track of the same name, 1 Billion Views. The hip-hop driven album has received support and features from top artists such as Penomeco, 10cm, Gaeko, and Moon. With such talent working altogether in one album, it only drives up the excitement for the upcoming comeback.
Penomeco participated in the lyrics of “Say It”, as well as do a feature in it. The song holds heavy 808 bass and Bossa Nova rhythm that is perfect for the summer season.
In “Fly Away”, Gaeko helped in songwriting and featured in the song. “Fly Away” shows off a lyrical band sound that holds an R&B hip-hop vibe. The lyrics, written by Sehun and Chanyeol themselves, follow the stages in their life from childhood to adulthood.
“Telephone” is a hip-hop heavy song with catchy piano riffs and heavy bass that features 10cm. It showcases Sehun and Chanyeol’s unique rapping and 10cm’s smooth vocals that makes for a head-bopping vibe. The song talks about the frustrations of a person in love with someone who is addicted to their phone. As of July 7, EXO-SC surprised fans with a music video of this song ahead of their comeback.

EXO-SC’s 1st album “1 Billion Views” will be released on multiple music sites, such as Flo, Melon, Genie, iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, QQ Music, Kugou Music, Kuwo Music on July 13 at 6 PM KST.
