Lee Hi Talk About The Past And Future With Kids in ODG Video

In a new video from ODG Studio, Lee Hi sat and talked with kids ranging from 8 to 16.

Lee Hi and the three girls in the video have a friendly introduction filled with shyness. In the video, they begin with simple questions about how old they are and what are their interests. Questions begin to get deeper as they begin to talk about their future dreams and what they want to do. Each girl Lee Hi have talked to seem to have a dream to be in the entertainment business.

The video really showcases the hopes and passion all four of these girls have for their dreams, however showing off the reality that it’s not an easy road to get to. There are worries that could slow us down from reaching our goal. As we grow, the worries grow too. They also discuss about when they might feel lonely. Lee Hi mentioned that while she may feel lonely at times, being alone isn’t too bad and she does feel comforted by it.

When asked the question, “If you could go back when you were 16, would you go down the same path,” Lee Hi replied that she would do the same. The singer also performed her new single, Holo, in which the girls replied the song has given them strength and is perfect to console people with.

The video was very heartwarming.

“Children are not different beings but is our past.

Children go through many trial-and-errors and become the adults we are.

But even as adults, we are still imperfect beings.

We often suffer from how others look at us and we end up feeling empty after pursuing our desires.

And at times, we feel lost in the middle of no where and trapped on a remote island.

During those times, it’s our past that helps to guide us through the hard times:

The past when we used to be imperfect but pure;

The past when we used to be free from the world’s standard and how others think of us.

That moment when I happen to come across an old photo of me as a kid, it became a moment when I could reflect to my past.” — ODG

In their words, we are people that continue to learn and experience no matter what part of our lives. We learn from our pasts so we can do better in our future. We once used to be so free and pure but life changes you as you grow.

This video alone really encompasses the views from childhood to adulthood. Once pure and full of hope, there are worries and hardships one would face while trying to reach their dream. ODG hit the target with conveying such confusing yet complicated feelings people would get while growing up. Lee Hi’s insight was also very eye-opening as someone who has the most experience from their talks.
